13 1/2 months Jayden

Jayden crawled since 6 1/2 month old, but as an early crawler, he did not become an early walker. At 1 year old, he started to take some real steps, and now, at 13 1/2 months of age, he can take about 7-8 steps before falling to the ground. Here is a shot of Jayden happily strolling in the park (thanks to uncle Marvin for a great shot!)

Jayden is 13 months now. He has 3 teeth - 2 top and 1 bottom, all popped out after he turned 1. He has been teething like crazy because of this.

Jayden has been attempting to walk everyday now. Last week he was able to take 3 steps, now he's advanced to about 5-6 steps. I predict that he will be walking by end of the month! :)

Amber's Ideal Meal

Took a look at Amber's work@school this morning. They were supposed to pick food cutouts from magazines to make their 'ideal meal'. Some kids have only chocolate chip cookies and OJ, some kids has like 20 items, Amber has big tomatoes, small tomatoes, and a V8!! :) Talk about simplicity and healthy choice :)

Fun bath together

Eventhough we both have our own tubs, we still like to squeeze into the small tub when we take a bath. Here Amber is putting on flowers on both of our heads because we are 'princesses', according to her. Do you think I'm a pretty princess? :)

Today's Jie-Jie's bday party and I'm so happy for her. I love my big sister Amber. She always takes care of me and plays with me. I can't wait to walk and run so we can ride bikes together and play with all the toys together! Happy Birthday Sister!!

Happy 3rd Bday to Amber!

Today I am 3 years old. I speak really well in Chinese and English, and I love wearing pretty dresses. I love the color pink, and I love riding the bike. I am going to preschool and I love singing and reading everyday. I am almost 37" tall and I weight 32lb. My teeth are getting prettier becuase I brush them twice a day, and I love having friends over for playdates. I love Disneyland, and I am the dare-devil who likes roller coasters and fast rides. My favorite rides are It's a Small World, Tea Cup, Dumbo, the kiddie Roller Coaster, and the Space plane (like Dumbo). I love hanging out with mommy and daddy, and of course, my favorite person - my brother Jayden.

8 months Jayden and 2 years 11 months Amber are happy whenever there are visitors. Auntie Kay and Uncle Anko came to visit with their twins and took this beautiful picture for us. Mommy doesn't look good but Amber and Jayden both have a beautiful smile that truly reflects their personality. Love this picture!

Amber can sing the complete DoReMi song from the Sound of Music after I taught her and watched that part of movie with her. She is definitely a quick learner!! and a super cute singer!

Jayden crawling

Jayden started to crawl at 6 months and a few days, just shortly after he learnt how to sit without support!
Now, he is crawling like a pro @ 6 months 3 weeks! At this pace, he's probably going to be running at 9 months! or maybe he'll learn from Amber and crawl for 5 months (Amber crawled from 7 - 12 months). They say crawling helps the development of the brain as it requires the use of arms and legs and will (determination). I hope that's true :)

Yesterday I told Amber that "Mah-Mah is in Turkey (visiting)'. Her response was: 'No!! Mah Mah is not 'hungry, she doesn't want turkey!' - how do you respond to that??!! :)

Mommy cut my hair for the first time last yesterday. It turned out pretty good actually. See, I'm happy :)

5 months 1 week Jayden

Today I am 5 months and 1 week old. I love walking even though I can't really walk by myself yet.
I also like to chew on everything I can get my hands on. I think I'm about 17.5 pounds, and my spiky hair is starting to come down. I still go to bed at around 7:30pm and my favorite person is my sister Amber.

Happiest place on Earth

Amber just started to enjoy going to the happiest place on earth - Daddy's shoulder...I mean, Disneyland! :) Aidan, one of her favorite playmates, plays the cool boy:)

Jealous Amber

So Amber has been very jealous of Jayden lately, and is definitely regressing a little in her behaviours regardless of how much more time we try to spend with her. A few examples of acts of jealousy include grabbing my arm and not letting me go check on Jayden when he cries in the morning, pouching when I take pictures of Jayden, and going pee in her pants when I feed Jayden.

Last night, she went pee in her pants again while I was reading to her. Jayden wasn't even around. I was really mad, told her so, and asked Eddy to deal with her. Eddy asked her why she went pee in her pants, to which she answered "just like Jayden!!" Sigh...I guess I will have to find other ways to boost her confidence and let her know that she wont ever be replaced?!

32 months Amber @ Jayden's 5 months bday

Today my brother Jayden is 5 months old. Me, I am 32 months (2 1/2 years old) and I love helping mommy with my baby brother. I am a big girl now. I can drink my milk in sippy cups and I haven't wore diapers for 3 months now. I am such a big girl!

I am already 17lb + and my favorite seat is Amber's Dora chair, maybe because that's the only thing she would lend me? She is so jealous of me now, she is pouting next to me right at this very moment because mommy is taking a solo picture of me. Such a girl!!

Mom decorated my room with beautiful decals. Now I don't have to sleep alone anymore. I have all these cute animals to go to sleep with. I won't have to be afraid of Tickle Monster in the middle of the night anymore!! Thanks mom!!

0-1 year old - 'Snap N Go' by Baby Trend. Graco has a very similar one too but we liked the Baby Trend one better because it has 2 cupholders and a middle section to put stuff in (such as baby wipes or little toys) on the handle. It is lightweight, and cheap (only about $50-$60 US). Basically it's a frame, and you snap the baby car seat on top of it. easy to maneuover, and there's no need to wake the baby up when you move him/her from car to stroller if he/she is sleeping.

4 months Jayden

Hellow world! I'm Jayden and I'm 4 months old today. I'm just chilling on great-grandpa's chair since I can't have cake yet. My fist tastes just as good.
